Q: What are the goals for this upcoming season?

A: We want to get better each day and keep improving. If we keep improving we could make it to the playoffs and ultimately the state championship.

Q: How does this year’s team compare to previous years?

A: This team is pretty similar to the one we had in 2012. We have a chance to be pretty good. We didn’t start out that way but we have potential to be pretty good.

Q: What are the strengths of this program?

A: We don’t have one strength. We have a lot of weapons in our offensive and defensive lines making us more balanced, which is good in football.

Q: What are some things the team can improve on?

A: Just learning finer parts of offense and defense will help them down the road to expand. They know the basics but they need to learn the little things to be better.

Q: What is your favorite part about coaching high school football?

A: I think seeing the kids improve from freshman year to senior year and how their lives change. Also, seeing the excitement on game days is exciting to me.

Q: Outside of football, what is your guilty pleasure?

A: Probably chocolate.
