Trust me, I want to “Let it Go.”

Since the Disney movie Frozen came out in theaters on November 27th, 2013 and tugged the heartstrings of many across the globe, I can’t go ANYWHERE without hearing songs from the movie soundtrack.

At first I found these songs endearing, but now they are just annoying. I love Disney movies as much as the next person, but I think it is a stretch to call Frozen the “best Disney movie of all time.”

I did like that Frozen didn’t focus on a man saving a damsel in distress, but it focus on the bond between sisters. It was refreshing to see the typical Disney stereotype broken with this twist.

Regardless of the movies attributes, the soundtrack still annoys me. I have to admit that the music in this movie is more modern than previous Disney movies, but constantly hearing people sing, play on their phones, or play on the radio songs from this soundtrack including “Let it Go”, “Do You Want To Build a Snowman?”, or “Love Is An Open Door” is not in my best interest.

So for you Frozen fans out there, it would be much appreciated if you wouldn’t sing these songs in front of me. Unless you want to hear me rant to you personally.
