Seniors Leaving West
Seniors are getting ready to pack up and leave West for good.
The 2013-2014 school year is coming to an end and seniors will be leaving before we know it. Many seniors have already started to prepare for the transition from high school to college, or the various directions they want to go in life. No matter if they are moving away or continuing to live at home, college will be a big change for many seniors.
Many juniors and underclassmen are sad to see their friends leave, although excited to watch them chase their dreams.
“They’ve been so helpful and we’ve grown so close. Next year will be so different without them.” Sophomore, Annie Rinne.
“It was great to have the seniors to look up to and set examples for us. I’m sad they are leaving but I wish them the best of luck in college!” – Freshman, Gabby Lavenburg.
As we all have been hearing for months on end, seniors are suffering from a serious case of senioritis and they are counting down the days until they graduate.
Senior Jessica Addadi says she is “excited and anxious” to be leaving high school.
“I’m happy to be graduating so soon, but I will miss West. Once a viking, always a viking.” -Senior, Seth Pecina
We will all miss seeing seniors in class and in the halls, but we wish them the best of luck in whatever they plan to do after leaving West.
