School Tragedy in Pennsylvania

Early Wednesday morning tragedy struck a Pennsylvania high school, 16 year old Alex Hribal ran through the halls, randomly stabbing students with two kitchen knives. 21 people were wounded, and four were seriously injured.

Fellow students described Hribal as being quiet and having few friends,  but also as “really nice.” His family is described as a typical average middle class family, with both parents active with Alex and his brother. The police have stated that they cannot make sense of the incident.

The attack was stopped by the 60 year old assistant principal, who tackled Hribal to the ground.

“He was very quiet. He just was kind of doing it,” Mia Meixner, a student at Franklin Regional Senior High School said. “And he had this, like, look on his face that he was just crazy and he was just running around, just stabbing whoever was in his way.”

Hribal will be charged as an adult, and faces four counts of attempted homocide and 21 counts of aggravated assault.
