After winning key battleground states, republican nominee Donald Trump won the election and will become the 45th president.

At around 3 a.m., Hillary Clinton conceded to Trump, and will give her concession speech in the next few hours.

Many pundits leading up to election night had Clinton heavily favored to win, especially in key states like Florida and Michigan. Trump managed to win Florida, a state with 29 electoral votes, by a little over one percent.

The biggest surprise, however, came in Pennsylvania where Trump managed to pull out a shocking win.

The democrats also were hoping to get majority back in the senate, but wins by republicans like Ron Johnson in Wisconsin lead to another four years of republican majority.

For the first time since 1928, the republicans have majority of the House of Representatives, Senate, and Presidency.
