Yesterday Snapchat released its latest update and teens were shocked with the changes.

Most teens were quick to notice that there is no longer the option to see users’ best friends list.

Besides the lack of BF’s list, the new update includes a brand new feature, Discover, that allows users to browse videos and stories from different publications.

Another new feature from the update makes it easier for users to add each other as friends. On the old version you had to manually type in usernames, but with the update a friend can be added with just one tap of the screen.

After much criticism on social media about the removal of the best friends list, the CEO of Snapchat tweeted that “we’ll bring back BFs soon…”
