These O’s Ain’t Royals

Kaylyn Olson

If you haven’t heard, the Royals are kind of a big deal. Like really big.

Winning two more games in the series against the Orioles will clench our spot in the World Series.

The World Series? WHAT?! We haven’t been there since 1985! I wasn’t even alive to watch the Royals face the Cardinals, and I am really hoping for a rematch.

Whether you’ve been a Royals fan your entire life or you’ve just now hopped on the bandwagon, the KC Royals need all the support they can get.

The Royals are back at home tonight as they face game 3 against the O’s. I don’t know about you, but I am really excited and I might cry if this rainy weather makes them cancel the game.

To be up two games and going back to that atmosphere, it’s incredible,

— Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas

“It will be a lot of fun to play in front of the home fans.’’

Since I don’t have the money to head out to Kauffman Stadium, I will be sitting in my basement, cuddled up in my blankets, cheering on my Boys in Blue, and of course, eating a lot of food.

The Royals have literally the entire nation on their side and I know the World Series is where they belong. The only thing getting me through the school day is knowing I get to watch the Royals tonight. Here’s to more late nights watching the Royals instead of doing my homework.
