UPCOMING EVENTS THIS WEEK AND NEXT:
April 15-19:
Out Of Hand Kick Ball Tournament – Literary staff is hosting their 2nd annual kick ball tournament to raise money for the schools literary magazine. Weather permitting this will be happening in one week, if in any case it rains, each game is pushed back a day. Teams are composed of at least 6 players each.
April 19:
Beatnik Café – this happens every year at the end of April. Beatnik is similar to an “open mic” poetry event. Taking place in the little theater, this all day event is put on by all blocks of Writers Workshop students who perform their pieces through out the day as well. Drinks and sweets are typically served.
April 27:
Shawnee Mission West prom held at Union Station.
April 29:
The Feast ll: The Leftovers – 6:30 – 9 pm this is continued on from the “open mic” poetry night.
