Assassins

April 19, 2013
Shawnee Mission West is playing a game called Assassins. It is a game of cunning skill, lying, and deception. The object of the game is to “assassinate” your designated target, while avoiding being “assassinated” by the person hunting you. You “assassinate” them with a Nerf gun, water gun, silly string, or any other safe means of “killing” somebody. If you go a week without a kill, then you are automatically eliminated by default. The game started with over 65 people. and after one week there are now 27 people left in the hunt. Friendships are in jeopardy; as well, with all the lying and deception going around. I, myself, had to take out one of my best friends in order to advance in the game. At the end, the winner gets $125, second place gets $50 and third place gets $30. With this incentive people are buying Nerf guns, water guns, silly string and whatever means to obtain their goal. Good luck to all who are still playing.
