As the 2012 elections continue, one candidate inched closer to winning.
Mitt Romney, Former Governor of Massachusetts and presidential candidate, won the GOP primary in New Hampshire on Jan. 10. Romney persuaded New Hampshire voters by promising to not neglect the state.“If I am president of the United States, I will not forget New Hampshire,” Romney said.
Santorum criticized President Obama’s policies in his victory speech.
“Americans know that our future is brighter and better than these troubled times. The president has run out of ideas. Now he’s running out of excuses,” Romney said.
Romney shared his celebrations over Twitter.
“This Granite State moment is one we will always remember. Tonight, we celebrate. Tomorrow, we go back to work,” Romney tweeted.
Ron Paul came in second in the New Hampshire primary, and Jon M. Huntsman in third.
