Victory or Defeat?

Overall, this weekend was a successful weekend for Kansas City Sports, and Shawnee Mission West,  who won almost every game. Here is a break down of how Kansas City did.

Shawnee Mission West won their football game against Olathe South, Making their record 2-0. This Thursday, September 19, 2013, the football team hosts Lawrence High, who are currently 0-2.

The Chiefs had a very  successful weekend as they played the Dallas Cowboys, outscoring them with a score of 17-16. The Chiefs are currently tied for first in the AFC West with the Denver Broncos. Last year the Chiefs were 2-14, so far this year they are 2-0. Next week the chiefs play the Philadelphia Eagles, who are currently 1-1.

The royals had a faulty weekend winning 1 of their 3 games against the Detroit Tigers. The royals are 78-71 already for the season being 7 games above 50%. Last year the Royals won 72-90. This week they play the Cleveland Indians who are currently 81-68, and the Texas Rangers who are also, 81-68

Kansas State University had a fantastic weekend making their record 2-1, with a score of 37-7, making it a solid win against the University of Massachusetts. Next week the wildcats play the Texas Longhorns who are currently 1-2.

The University of Kansas had a depressing weekend losing against Rice University, with a score of 14-23. This lost made their record 1-1, having only won one game last year. Next week they play Louisiana Tech, who are currently 1-2. ,
