Megan Vanderpool, junior, had a gymnastics state competition to remember. Going into the meet as Vault champion in 2011, she helped lead the Lady Viking Gymnast to a 3rd place overall win. Along with the team’s placement, Vanderpool placed 1st in the uneven bars, 2nd in vault, 6th in floor and 2nd all around. As of now she is already preparing for next years competition. “I’ll pretty much just be training year round, a lot of conditioning and hours and hours of practice,” Vanderpool said.
